The Dukes of Highland had humble beginnings - as a simple tabletop gaming group.
Since we formed in 2014, our gaming group has evolved over time and in 2022, Tony, the founder of the Dukes, convinced a handful of the guys to help him run a MegaGame - an all day gaming event usually reserved for conventions.
Watch The Skies: New Materials was run in Louisville, KY in March 2022 and it was the first game of this scale to be played in Kentucky. Between 2022 and 2023 we ran a total of 6 events, both locally and at Gen Con.
In January 2023, we officially became a LLC.
And if you’re wondering where the name came from where’s the quick story:
Our very first game night in 2014 we played the card game Coup and at one point in the night, all 6 of us claimed the Duke in a single turn. That and we all knew each other from the Highland area of Louisville.
